L+¡H*

This pitch accent is phonetically realized as a rising pitch movement during the accented syllable. The rise starts at the onset of the accented syllable and ends at the end of that syllable. The pitch range is wider than the one of L+H*.

It is found in nuclear position in counter-expectational questions.

Example: Counter-expectational question

¿Las nueve? (¿Estás seguro?)
[Nine o'clock? (Are you sure?)]
